Mechanic Desk integration for car dealers
A Mechanic Desk integration is on our roadmap. The plan is for recon jobs done in a workshop running Mechanic Desk to report their status and cost back to the car, so you don’t enter the invoice twice.

What it’s planned to do
- Planned: recon jobs sent from the stock card to Mechanic Desk
- Planned: job status and costs returned to the car
- Planned: invoices attached to the car’s recon record
Why it matters in a yard
Plenty of dealers have their own workshop or a regular mechanic on Mechanic Desk. Until the integration is live, you can track every recon job in the app with the vendor, quote, actual cost and invoice, and days in recon are counted automatically.
Mechanic Desk is a trademark of its owner. carassessments.com.au isn’t endorsed by or affiliated with Mechanic Desk unless stated.
Questions dealers ask
Is the Mechanic Desk integration live?
Not yet. It’s on the roadmap. Book a demo and let us know you use it, and we’ll keep you posted.
Can my mechanic see jobs in the app now?
You can set up vendors with their job history and average turnaround, and attach their quotes and invoices to each recon job.
See it with a real car.
Leave your email. We’ll set up twenty minutes and run a real car through it, from first enquiry to settlement and the profit on the car.
