carassessments.com.au is new, and we won’t pretend otherwise: we don’t have customer case studies yet. What we do have is TradeBeat, the licensed QLD consignment dealer the software was built in and runs on every day.
TradeBeat: the first customer
TradeBeat is a licensed Queensland motor dealer that consigns cars for private sellers and buys cars outright. The software started as TradeBeat’s own system, built because no Australian DMS handled consignment and buying properly.
Every enquiry starts as a lead in the app, with duplicates merged and follow-up tasks set automatically. Sellers fill in the self-assessment with guided photos, then the car goes through the 11-section inspection and gets a score out of 100 and a valuation with trade, private and retail ranges.
Sellers get an online proposal showing what they’d get by consigning or by selling outright, and say yes with one tap. Consignments are signed on a digital Form 9 on the seller’s phone, and PPSR checks run from the same record with the certificate stored on the car.
Once a car is listed, buyer enquiries, test drives and offers sit on that car. Trust money goes into a per-seller ledger with no deletes, deadline timers watch the banking, register and seller account deadlines, and settlement statements and remittance advice go out when the car is sold.
At the end of each day the 6pm summary and the profit per car report show how the yard is tracking. That is the same app every dealer gets.
